Experience/Training:

1.Two (2) years of relevant experience (i.e. project management, events coordination); and
2. Eight (8) hours relevant training.

 Job Description: 
To perform the following Human Resource functions in:
  1. Organize/coordinate meetings/activities, prepare MHRDC documents as needed (reference materials, communications and minutes of meeting);
  2. Develop, update, and maintain health R&D databases (researches, human resources, institutions and funding sources);
  3. Keep ang maintain records of the Consortium;
  4. Consolidate, package and submit accomplishment reports, work and financial plans, Gantt chart of activities, progress and financial reports on projects, and activities undertaken by the Consortium;
  5. Regular coordinate with PCHRD on projects and activities undertaken by the Consortium; and
  6. Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary like those involving coordination, monitoring, report preparation, and other project management related work.

 Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:  
  1. Responsible for the overall administrative and technical operations of the Physico-chemical Lab;
  2. Specifies all methodologies used in the Physico-chemical Lab;
  3. Ensures that all procedures and test methods done in the laboratory are in accordance with adopted international and national standards;
  4. Supervise other laboratory personnel during the conduct of different tests in the laboratory;
  5. Performs physico-chemical tests and other laboratory procedures on a regular basis;
  6. Ensures competence and give authority to Physico-chemical lab personnel who operate specific equipment, performs tests, evaluate results, sign test certificates;
  7. Ensures adequate supervision of Physico-Chemical Lab staff;
  8. Attests and checks by signature, the validity of all Physico-chemical tests and results;
  9. Coordinates with RSTL head and the Regional Office of all concerns related to the Physico-chemical lab;
  10. Ensure that needed resources are available at Physico-chemical lab;
  11. Attend necessary trainings in the conduct of the employee’s responsibilities in the Physico-chem lab;
  12. Participate during the proficiency testing and accreditation assessments;
  13. Prepares, reviews, necessary accomplishment reports;
  14. Manage the documentary requirements and ensure compliance of the Physico-chem Lab to the adopted standards;
  15. Manage assigned projects to include monitoring of project fund utilization and target deliverables;
  16. Assesses, develops and monitors performance of the quality management system for the assigned processes/tasks including recommendations for improvements; and
  1. Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time by higher authorities.
